Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026. This policy applies to all users of the IRYNT protocol and website.

1. What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the IRYNT network:

  • Email address — collected solely for account verification purposes (anti-sybil and membership verification). Your email is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing without explicit consent.
  • Wallet address — your Solana public key is used to identify your membership on-chain. Note that wallet addresses are public blockchain data and are visible on the Solana ledger to anyone.
  • Username — your chosen on-chain display name, stored on the Solana blockchain and publicly visible.
  • Transaction data — all membership activations and reward distributions are recorded on the Solana blockchain. This data is public and immutable.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Email verification: To confirm your identity and prevent sybil attacks (duplicate memberships). We send a one-time verification code to your email address during registration.
  • Membership verification: To confirm your eligibility to activate a membership on the IRYNT network.
  • Service communications: We may send transactional emails related to your account (e.g., OTP codes). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.

We do not build profiles on users, sell data, or use your personal information for any purpose other than operating the IRYNT Service.

3. Data Retention

Your email address is stored securely for as long as your account remains active. Blockchain data (wallet address, username, transaction history) is permanently stored on the Solana blockchain and cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of public blockchains.

Off-chain data (email address, verification status) is stored in our secure database. You may request deletion of your off-chain data at any time (see Section 5 — Your Rights).

4. Cookies

IRYNT uses only essential cookies necessary for the operation of the Service. We do not use:

  • Advertising or tracking cookies
  • Third-party analytics cookies
  • Persistent session cookies beyond what is required for authentication

Essential cookies are used to maintain your wallet connection session and application state. These expire when you close your browser or disconnect your wallet.

5. Your Rights (GDPR and Applicable Law)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to deletion: You may request deletion of your off-chain personal data (email address, verification records). Note: on-chain data cannot be deleted due to blockchain immutability.
  • Right to data portability: You may request your personal data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: You may object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restrict processing: You may request that we limit how we use your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@irynt.network. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted storage, secure connections (HTTPS), and restricted access to personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your wallet private keys are never transmitted to or stored by IRYNT. All blockchain transactions are signed locally in your browser using your wallet extension.

7. Third-Party Services

IRYNT may use the following third-party services to operate:

  • Solana RPC providers — to interact with the Solana blockchain. Your wallet address may be transmitted to RPC providers as part of normal blockchain queries.
  • Email delivery service — to send verification codes to your email address.

We select third-party providers with appropriate data protection standards. We do not share your email address with blockchain data providers.

8. Children's Privacy

The IRYNT Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@irynt.network and we will promptly delete such data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
